I found myself recording different found objects and experimenting with them to find out how to fuse them to each other, while preserving their characteristics that define them. I also found myself troubled with the computer generated reverb effects, in the way that it describes the most of current compositions’ texture. I tried to use them not as a reverb, but as a tool interpenetrating with the sound material itself. Attending Composition Seminars at MIAM, I also realized that somehow me and my colleagues perceive pieces in a similar way, although we have quite different backgrounds. These similarities in perception can be a sense of an end, or related to the perception and the feeling of particular passages in pieces. I tried to examine those feelings, especially at the end of the piece by somehow itching them, suspending them, using them to make contrast and create an element of surprise. (2013)
